Calmette began with a simple moment of rediscovering home.
During a visit to Vietnam — the country where our founder was born and raised — Vy wandered through the vibrant streets of Saigon, where she stumbled upon a local pottery shop filled with handcrafted ceramics.
Among the shelves of beautifully crafted bowls, plates, and vessels, Vy discovered something beyond ceramics. The stories of Vietnamese heritage, generations of craftsmanship, and a deep connection between everyday living and cultural tradition.
The beauty, artistry, and soul behind these handmade pieces left a lasting impression.
Inspired by that experience, Calmette was created with a purpose: to bring these meaningful pieces of Vietnamese craftsmanship closer to homes and communities around the world.

Our ceramics are dishwasher-safe. We recommend hand washing to preserve their beauty over time. Please avoid microwave or oven use unless specifically stated for the product.
